Washburn Professor, Students Visit Cuba

(Photo by wikitravel.org)The U-S has long imposed sanctions on Cuba. But one area where restrictions have been eased is travel to the island nation.  Washburn professor Bob Beatty recently traveled to Cuba with a group of students. Cuban leader Raul Castro has headed to China for four days of talks with that nation's top leaders.  He's also due to visit Vietnam.
