When you go to the World War One Museum in Kansas City, you expect to learn about...World War One.  But just in time for Veterans Day weekend, the museum is opening a new exhibit on...the Vietnam War.  KPR's Kaye McIntyre visited the museum and spoke to Dr. Matt Naylor, President and CEO, about the many surprising connections between World War One and Vietnam.

Dr. Matt Naylor is president and CEO of the National World War One Museum in Kansas City. He spoke with KPR's Kaye McIntyre. You can find a complete schedule of the museum's Veterans Day activities at their website, theworldwar.org. Learn more about the new Vietnam exhibit at the World War One Museum on this weekend's KPR Presents, 6:00 Sunday evening on Kansas Public Radio and 1:00 Sunday afternoon on KPR2.

Kaye starts her weekends the same way you do: with Weekend Edition Saturday, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, This American Life, and To the Best of Our Knowledge. She started at Kansas Public Radio in 2001; in 2006, she became the producer of our weekly public affairs program, KPR Presents. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, and attend theater.
