US Supreme Court Will Not Review Kansas Serial Murder Case

The U.S. Supreme Court will not take up John Robinson's appeal.
The U.S. Supreme Court will not take up John Robinson's appeal.

The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to review the case of a convicted Kansas serial killer in its new session. The ruling leaves John Robinson's capital murder conviction and death sentence intact. Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt says the death penalty case against Robinson will now be returned to state courts for further proceedings under the Kansas death penalty statute.

Robinson was convicted in the gruesome murders of seven women and a teenage girl in Kansas and Missouri in cases dating back to 1984.
