U.S. Secretaries of Agriculture, Part Two

This week on KPR Presents, it's the second part of Kansas State University's Landon Lecture, featuring six former U.S. Secretaries of Agriculture. The panel included native Kansan Dan Glickman, who served as the Secretary of USDA from 1995-2001, following 18 years representing the 4th Congressional District in the U.S. Congress. Other panelists included Mike Johans, Ann Veneman, Ed Schafer, Mike Espy, and John Block; this event was moderated by Dr. Barry Flinchbaugh, who teaches agricultural economics at Kansas State University. If you missed last week's program with the Secretaries of Agriculture, it's now available to listen to on-demand. This week's program features the Q and A portion of their panel, and was recorded at KSU's McCain Auditorium on Oct. 21, 2013.

Kaye starts her weekends the same way you do: with Weekend Edition Saturday, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, This American Life, and To the Best of Our Knowledge. She started at Kansas Public Radio in 2001; in 2006, she became the producer of our weekly public affairs program, KPR Presents. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, and attend theater.
