The U.S. Attorney for Kansas, Barry Grissom, says his office collected nearly $16 million in fiscal year 2012. The money was collected in both criminal and civil actions. Grissom says much of that money will be headed to the U.S. Treasury.
Grissom says $2.1 million was collected in criminal actions in 2012. And $13.7 million was collected in civil actions.
