UPDATE: Mr. Mulvihill has returned to his family, safe and sound. The Silver Alert has been cancelled.
Jefferson County police are asking for assistance in locating a missing 83-year-old man. Leo Mulvihill was last seen around 3 a.m. He is a white male, who is 5'7" tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has gray hair and gray eyes and is missing his left hand. Mulvihill has Alzheimer's disease. He was last seen wearing a blue and gray plaid shirt, blue jeans, cowboy boots and a gray ball cap. He was driving a 2007 Chevy Silverado pickup truck, with Kansas tags 441CGK. It is unknown in which direction he may have been travelling. If anyone has seen Leo Mulvihill, please contact the Jefferson County sheriff's office at 785-863-2247.
