JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) A third case of cyclospora infection has been reported in the Kansas City area. The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services said yesterday (FRI) the latest report of the stomach bug came from a health provider in the Kansas City metro area. A case was reported earlier this week from Jackson County, Mo.; the sources of those two cases have not been confirmed yet. Kansas has reported cases of cyclospora in Johnson and Phillips counties. The Kansas cases have been linked to a national outbreak that has sickened more than 400 people in 16 states this summer.
