Teachers' Unions Are Not The Bogeyman!

(Flickr Photo via Alaina Abplanalp Photography)The Kansas Legislature is considering several proposals that affect school funding and Kansas teachers. One measure would prevent Kansas courts from telling state lawmakers how much money to spend on education. Another proposal is designed to curtail the political influence on teachers' unions. Commentator John Richard Schrock, an educator himself, says teachers - and the public at large - should be concerned about these proposals. Very concerned.
