Tax Talks Between KS House and Senate Stall

(Photo by Stephen Koranda)House and Senate tax negotiators have started meeting to try to find a compromise on tax legislation, but they're off to a rocky start. There’s a huge tax-cutting plan already waiting on Governor Sam Brownback’s desk. Brownback says he's prepared to sign the bill, but he wants lawmakers to continue looking for a different compromise. But yesterday (TUE) talks stalled. As KPR’s Stephen Koranda tells us, House negotiators seem to have the upper hand.
