Sporting KC Season Comes to Untimely End

More than 20,000 soccer fans at Livestrong Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas were left disappointed yesterday (SUN). Sporting Kansas City lost, 2-0, to Houston in the Eastern Conference championship...just one game away from reaching the Major League Soccer championship match. Sporting Kansas City coach Peter Vermes (ver-MEESE) had hoped his team could capitalize on its home field advantage.

It was Sporting Kansas City's first loss at Livestrong Sporting Park since August 27th. It was only their third loss at home since the stadium opened in June.
