Some Kansas Farmers Warming Up to the Affordable Care Act

Until the federal health insurance Marketplace opened last year, farmers and ranchers were more likely to be uninsured than many other groups. The Affordable Care Act has changed that. It requires them to buy insurance. But it also gives them coverage options that they didn’t have before. Heartland  Health Monitor’s Bryan Thompson has been checking into how the law is working for farmers and ranchers.
