Shawnee County Treasurer Larry Wilson
Shawnee County Treasurer Larry Wilson is stepping down from his post on December 30th.
Wilson has agreed to leave the treasurer's position early, in exchange for a 30 thousand dollar payout from Shawnee County commissioners. Commission members voted unanimously and Wilson agreed to the resignation last Friday. The agreement states that once the county clerk receives an irrevocable letter of resignation from Wilson, then he will receive a one time payment of 30 thousand dollars. That's expected to happen in January.
