In Session: An Abortion Restriction Advances and Kansas Lawmakers Look at Hiking Sin Taxes

J. Schafer speaks with Stephen Koranda and Jim McLean about happenings at the Kansas Statehouse.

A restriction on a specific type of a abortion passed the Kansas Senate last week and lawmakers took a deeper look at increasing alcohol and tobacco taxes. Those issues are the focus of this week's "In Session," our report on what's happening at the Kansas Statehouse. KPR's J. Schafer spoke with Statehouse reporter Stephen Koranda and Jim McLean, of the KHI News Service, to learn more.

That's Jim McLean, of the KHI News Service, speaking with KPR's J. Schafer and Statehouse reporter Stephen Koranda. You'll find this edition of "In Session" on the KPR website: KPR.KU.EDU.
