Leaders of the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee say they're hoping to draft a new Farm Bill without having to make cuts to current spending levels. Senators met in Manhattan yesterday (THUR) to hold a hearing on the legislation. As Harvest Public Media's Bryan Thompson reports, the current Farm Bill expires at the end of next year.
