Senate Committee Will Vote On Redistricting Map This Week

A Senate committee will vote on this map of proposed congressional districts.

 

A Senate committee will vote on a map this week to redraw the state’s congressional districts. The map makes some significant changes from the current dividing lines, particularly affecting Lawrence and Manhattan. As KPR’s Stephen Koranda tells us, lawmakers need to add people to the vast 1st Congressional District in western Kansas.
