Self Hopes MU Stays in Big 12

The future of the University of Missouri in the Big 12 may be decided in the next 24 hours. An executive session of MU's Board of Curators is scheduled for this (THUR) afternoon (3:45pm) and another meeting is scheduled for tomorrow (FRI). Earlier today (THUR), during the Big 12's basketball media day, University of Kansas coach Bill Self said MU should remain in the Big 12 to keep traditional rivalries intact.

MU officials previously announced they would explore their options outside the Big 12 Conference.
