Santorum Wins Big in Kansas Caucus

Santorum took more than 50 percent of the vote. Initial estimates show he’ll take 33 of the state’s 40 delegates. At the Douglas County caucus site, Santorum had the support of Kim Green from Lawrence.

Mitt Romney came in second place with 21 percent of the vote. That’s enough for him to take the state’s remaining seven delegates. Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul each had under 15 percent of the vote. That’s not enough for either to take any of the state’s delegates.
