Santorum Stops in Topeka During Final Hours Before Caucus

Rick Santorum speaking with supporters in Topeka. (Photo by Stephen Koranda)Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum stopped in Topeka as part of a last-minute trip across the state in advance of tomorrow’s (SAT) caucus. Santorum told a crowd of around 200 that a win in Kansas would help him in the coming states of Mississippi and Alabama. Santorum says he’s hoping for a head-to-head race with Mitt Romney.

Ron Paul is also appearing in Kansas today (FRI) and tomorrow (SAT). Mitt Romney is not scheduled to visit the state and Newt Gingrich cancelled his planned stops in Kansas.
