The Beautiful Music All Around Us: Field Recordings and the American Experience

Author, musician and researcher Stephen Wade is bringing his one-man show to Wilson, Kansas, Sunday afternoon, (March 6). The performance explores traditional American music through a multimedia presentation employing live music, projected images and story-telling. The show is based on his book “The Beautiful Music All Around Us: Field Recordings and the American Experience.” Stephen Wade spoke with Kansas Public Radio's Tom Parkinson from his home near Washington, D.C.
