Republican Turnout for KS Caucus Encourages Party Officials

Overall, Kansas Republican Party officials are pleased with the turnout of 30,000 people who cast votes over the weekend in the state's GOP caucuses. Executive Director Clay Barker says the vote was also an exercise in party organization at the county level.

That candidate of choice among the majority of caucus-goers this past weekend was Rick Santorum, with Mitt Romney placing a distant second.
