Report: Job Growth to Increase in KS in 2013

An economic analysis from Wichita State University predicts an uptick in job growth in Kansas this year. The report comes from WSU’s Center for Economic Development and Business Research. Jeremy Hill is the center’s director.

Hill says the energy, construction and services sectors of the economy are among those driving the growth. But he says the federal budget sequester and European financial problems could have negative effects on the state's economic outlook in the future.
