NPR's Susan Stamberg, Nancy Pearl

This week's KPR Presents features two familiar voices to NPR listeners: special correspondent Susan Stamberg and librarian Nancy Pearl.  Join Kaye McIntyre as she visits with Susan Stamberg in advance of Stamberg's March 13th appearance at the University of Kansas Lied Center, co-sponsored by the Lawrence Public Library and Kansas Public Radio.  Plus, we'll hear from librarian Nancy Pearl, frequent NPR guest and author of Book Lust, More Book Lust, Book Lust to Go, and Book Crush.  Nancy Pearl stopped by the KPR studios while she was in town for a Lawrence Public Library event in November 2011.

She started at Kansas Public Radio in 2001; in 2006, she became the producer of our weekly public affairs program, KPR Presents. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, and attend theater.
