New Survey: Kansans Concerned About Health Care Costs

The KHI News Service is an independent news agency based in Topeka, primarily focused on health policy and state government issues.

Last fall, National Public Radio, Harvard University and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation joined forces to survey Americans about their perceptions of health care. Kansas was one of seven states singled out for a closer look.  One area that stood out about Kansans was the degree to which they are concerned about the cost of health care. Heartland Health Monitor’s Bryan Thompson has more.

Bryan Thompson is a reporter for the KHI News Service and a contributor to Heartland Health Monitor, a consortium of news outlets dedicated to providing coverage of health news and health policy in Kansas and Missouri..
