The original rules of basketball - as written by the game's inventor, Dr. James Naismith - will soon have a permanent home at the University of Kansas. School officials have announced that a new building will be constructed to showcase the two-page, typewritten rules. As KPR's Greg Echlin reports, the historic document will be showcased in a new structure attached to Allen Fieldhouse.

Though fund-raising for the center continues, construction is expected to start later this year.
