New, Giant Book on KS Birds as Comprehensive as They Come

For bird watchers, Kansas has a lot to offer. There are hundreds of different types of birds that either make their home here... or pass through the state on their journey elsewhere. Commentator Rex Buchanan has been flipping through the pages of a new, massive book that profiles nearly 500 Kansas birds.

Commentator Rex Buchanan is a regular contributor to Kansas Public Radio. He's also the Interim Director of the Kansas Geological Survey and co-author of the book "Roadside Kansas."
