Major League Soccer's Sporting Kansas City announced plans Thursday to build a $75 million National Training and Coaching Development Center in Kansas City, Kansas. KPR’s Greg Echlin has the story.
Robb Heineman, one of the Sporting owners, says he hopes the training facilities are finished in time for the U.S. team to train for a 2016 international tournament. The project will be funded through the use of STAR bonds.
