National Drug Take-Back Day - Saturday, Sept 29

Kansans will have an opportunity to safely dispose of unused or unwanted medications this Saturday. Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt says that 70 locations across the state will be participating in the semi-annual  National Drug Take Back Day.

National Drug Take Back Day is coordinated by the federal Drug Enforcement Administration and area law enforcement agencies. In the last four drug disposal events in Kansas, nearly 10 tons of medications have been collected. For more information, visit the DEA website.
