Historian Nancy Cott is considered a pioneer in the field of women's history. Her lecture, "Grooming Citizens: Marriage and Civic Status," was presented December 6th, 2006 as part of the Humanities Lecture Series sponsored by KU's Hall Center for the Humanities. It was sponsored by the Distinguished Lectureship Program of the Organization of American Historians.
