My Farm Roots: Farmer's Daughter Now in Chicago

Kelly Hagler left her family’s farm in northwest Missouri for the bright lights of Chicago, but her family and the farm are never far from her thoughts. (Jeremy Bernfeld/Harvest Public Media)It’s time for My Farm Roots, a series from Harvest Public Media in which we hear Americans’ stories and memories of rural life. Because when you hail from farm country, roots run deep. Harvest Public Media's Donna Vestal prepared today's report about Kelly Hagler, a self-described farmer's daughter. Hagler now lives in Chicago but she still feels the farm, her childhood home, tugging at her heart.
