My Farm Roots (#1): Farming Means Family

Kansas Public Radio begins a brand new series of reports from Harvest Public Media called "My Farm Roots." In the coming weeks, we'll showcase Americans telling their personal stories about the farm, agriculture and their memories of rural life. In this first installment, we hear about a woman who left the farm only to return to it later in life.  As it turns out, when you hail from farm country, roots run deep.

This is the first installment of My Farm Roots, Harvest Public Media’s new series chronicling Americans’ connection to the land. To learn more about this series, visit the Harvest Public Media website. Read our stories... and share your own!
