Memorial Held for KC Area Shooting Victims

More than 1,000 people gathered today (THUR) at a memorial to remember three people killed in the shootings at Jewish sites in Overland Park. Dr. William Corporon and his grandson, Reat Underwood were killed outside the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City. Terri LaManno died at a nearby Jewish retirement complex. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder was one of the speakers at the event.

Frazier Glenn Cross is charged in Kansas with capital murder and premeditated first-degree murder in connection with the killings. He could also face federal charges.
