Manhattan Woman's Facebook Comment Draws Fire

A Manhattan woman says she was fired from her job and has received death threats after making a post on Facebook about military members. Meagan May questioned on Facebook if military members are heroic. She said seeking peaceful solutions is heroic and she criticized military personnel who expect discounts at businesses. That post has drawn thousands of comments. May says she can post what she likes on Facebook.

May says she made her comments because she believes soldiers receive too much special treatment, especially at her former job, Carmike Cinemas. The company posted on Facebook that it does not agree with her comments.
