Majority in Poll Want to Close Kansas Income Tax Exemption

More than 300,000 businesses in Kansas are exempt from state income tax.

A new survey by Fort Hays State University shows 61 percent of Kansans polled say they want the Legislature to close the state’s tax exemption for businesses. Reporter Sam Zeff has more.
