The Lawrence Public Library will host a panel tonight (MON) on the community services available to victims of sexual assault and abuse. Chrissy Heikkila (HIGH-kuh-luh) is the executive director of the Sexual Trauma and Abuse Care Center in Lawrence. She says that social services, medical and law enforcement resources have to work together in addressing the problem.
The panel discussion will take place tonight (MON) at the Lawrence Public Library Auditorium, from 6:30 to 8 pm. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
