Lawmakers Want Closer Look at Kansas Foster Care System

The Kansas House voted this week to create a task force to spearhead improvements in the state’s foster care system.  As reporter Meg Wingerter (wing-git-err) tells Kansas News Service editor Amy Jeffries, lawmakers are sending a message that there’s been enough study of the troubled system and it’s time for action.
