The University of Kansas community will remember former Chancellor Robert Hemenway at a memorial service Sunday afternoon. Mary Burg, who worked with Hemenway for nearly 20 years, says the memorial will include comments from family members and focus on Hemenway's legacy at KU.

“He was chancellor for 14 years and oversaw some of the greatest growth in the university’s history during those 14 years, particularly in research,” says Burg.

The memorial will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Dole Institute of Politics. The service will also be streamed live online.
