More than 3,400 people wearing holiday sweaters turned out at the University of Kansas basketball game yesterday (SAT), breaking the Guinness World Record. The previous world record for "largest gathering of people wearing holiday sweaters" was set December 10, 2014, at Loughborough University in Loughborough, United Kingdom. The official count at Allen Fieldhouse was 3,473 participants, more than double the 2014 record of 1,175 people.
