Aerospace Engineering students at the University of Kansas have done it again -- cleaning up at an international design competition. Among other things, students received awards for designing a new space ship and a flying laser. The students recently competed in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics' international design contest. And this year, the KU group won more honors than any other Aerospace Program in the history of the Institute. KPR's J. Schafer spoke with Dr. Ron Barrett-Gonzalez, a KU professor of aeospace engineering, to learn more.
