The head of dining services at the University of Kansas will receive the prestigious 2015 Silver Plate Award from the International Food Manufacturers Association for excellence in collegiate dining. Nona Golledge (NAH-nah GAH-ledge) is the director of KU Dining Services, and also serves as the president of the National Association of College and University Food Services. On Tuesday afternoon, she was joined by family and colleagues for a celebratory lunch.
In May, Golledge will travel to Chicago for the National Restaurant Show, where she and eight other finalists will vie for the Gold Plate Award.
