KU Cleans Up at International Aircraft Design Competition

Students from the University of Kansas swept an entire category of awards in an international aircraft design competition. The contest is the longest running and largest competition of its kind. And this year, three KU students took top honors in the Individual Aircraft Design Competition. KPR's J. Schafer spoke to the coach of the KU team, Dr. Ron Barrett-Gonzalez.

That's Dr. Ron Barrett-Gonzalez, a KU professor of aerospace engineering. He was speaking to KPR's J. Schafer. Professor Barrett-Gonzalez is the coach for a team of KU students who recently cleaned-up at an international aircraft design competition, sponsored by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
