The University of Kansas Cancer Center is asking the public to help recover a stolen colon. The 10-foot-long inflatable colon was taken from the back of a truck this week.

The giant colon is valued at $4,000 and staff from the Cancer Center say it’s an important educational tool that was apparently taken while on its way to an event in Kansas City, Missouri.

"Colon cancer is a tough subject for many to talk about and the giant, 150 pound, ten-foot-long inflatable colon is a great conversation starter,” said John Ashcraft from the Cancer Center.

Visitors walk through the colon while learning about the disease.

Anyone who sees a ridiculously large inflatable colon is urged to call Kansas City, Missouri, police.
