KS Talk Show Host Tries to Break World Record

Starting tomorrow (FRI), a cable TV talk show host in Lawrence will try to break a world record. Mike Anderson is hoping to enter the Guinness Book of World Records for continuously live-hosting his TV show longer than anyone has ever hosted any TV show.

Mike Anderson is a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, and a graduate of the University of Kansas. But for the past three years, he's been the host of a local TV talk show called the " Not So Late Show." The program, which airs on Channel Six in Lawrence, features comedy bits, interviews and monologues.

 

Recently, KPR's J. Schafer spoke to Mike Anderson about his goal of setting a new world record.
