KS Silent Film Fest Goes On As Planned, Despite Snow

The Kansas Silent Film Festival in Topeka will begin tonight (FRI), as planned, despite the snow storm that forced Washburn University to close. The free, two-day event begins at 7 o'clock at Washburn's White Concert Hall. Organizer Bill Shaffer says the show must go on.

KS Silent Film Fest Underway in Topeka

The 17th annual Kansas Silent Film Festival gets underway tonight (FRI) at Washburn University's White Concert Hall. The free, two-day event is a combination of short and feature length films - all accompanied by live music. Organizer Bill Shaffer says the musicians are as fun to watch as the films themselves.
