(Photo by Stephen Koranda)The budget committee in the Kansas Senate has delayed a scheduled discussion of K-12 education funding. The Senate Ways and Means Committee had been scheduled to review school funding today (WED) and begin formulating a possible response to the last week's ruling by the state Supreme Court. The court ruled that Kansas has created unconstitutional inequality among school districts by reducing certain state funds that help equalize spending.
