KS House Advances - then Rejects - Constitutional Amendment Aimed at School Funding Lawsuit

UPDATE- The Kansas House has now rejected a constitutional amendment aimed at blocking an upcoming lawsuit over school funding. Supporters came just five votes short of the two-thirds majority needed. KPR’s Stephen Koranda has more.

The Kansas House has advanced a constitutional amendment aimed at blocking an upcoming lawsuit over school funding. The amendment says courts can’t force the Legislature to spend money. As KPR’s Stephen Koranda reports, the bill is a reaction to a previous school funding lawsuit.
