KDOT Lays Off 40 Employees at Topeka Headquarters

KDOT Secretary Mike King announced the layoffs in a news release today (FRI). Spokesman Steve Swartz says the the layoffs are designed to make the agency more efficient.

The 40 layoffs represent 5 percent of the staff at KDOT headquarters in Topeka.
