Kansas tax revenues are plummeting and that may be bad news for the future of the state highway system. Tax revenue has come in more than $57 million below estimates this year and that’s lead the Brownback Administration to transfer money from various departments to the general revenue fund in order to balance the budget. The Kansas Department of Transportation has taken the biggest hit.
