A 2015 Blue Ribbon Panel Report on bio-defense was the topic of discussion at a panel at Kansas State University. Kansas State interim President Richard Myers says the U-S is still highly vulnerable to biological threats.  


Kansas State University is on the forefront of research on bio-defense with the university's Biosecurity Research Institute and ongoing construction of the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility.
