It's slow going, but Kansas soldiers are making progress in a fight against wildfires in Colorado. The nine soldier crew is using a helicopter to dump water on the blaze. Sharon Watson is with the Kansas Adjutant General's Department.
The Kansas soldiers have been fighting the Colorado fire since last week. So far, that blaze has burned about 60,000 acres.
