Kansas Gasoline Prices Up Overall, But Down in the Last Week

According to Triple-A Kansas, gas prices have come down by a few cents this week. But across the state, prices are still much higher than they were at the beginning of the month. AAA spokesman Jim Hanni says that at the beginning of July, the average price for a gallon of unleaded was about $3.19. Right now, it's averaging about $3.45. Hanni reminds Kansans that there's a useful tool for checking on gas prices nationwide:

Hanni says the prices available at the website are real-time gas prices, not averages based on consumer reporting. That way, visitors can actually check the real cost of gas at most filling stations.
